Review of the 2008 Flint/Mid-Michigan

The 2008 Flint/Mid-Michigan was held April 19, 2008 at the Flint U of M Theater.  The event featured 45 competitors.  The event was drug tested and sanctioned by the NPC.  The bodybuilding division was head judged by Remi Bruninga, and the fitness and figure division were head judged by IFBB pro Melissa Frabbiele.

Brandi Carmode won both the local women’s division and the open women’s bodybuilding divisions.  Rose Maria Melvin won the masters women.

Joe Keller won a tuff pose down with lightweight Jeff Blevins to take the local men’s division.  Ricardo Cotto won the men’s open with James McGarry taking the wheelchair.

Greg Emmendorfer took the Masters Men, and James Ciotti taking the Grandmasters.

Allison Hogen of the tall figure division bested Staci Domhoff of the short division to take the open Figure, with Nadine Bye winning the Grand Masters Figure.  Lacey Hancock took the Fitness.

A standing room only crowd was on hand to witness what was a great group of Fitness, Figure, and Body Building competitors.
